Christmas in Alice's Winter Wonderland

Christmas in Alice's Winter Wonderland

The oysters struggled through sleet and snow
To catch the Walrus and Carpenter’s glow
To the frosty pole hand in hand
To meet with Alice in her winter wonderland

Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee
Are restful by the fire with glee
Tricked their way to this snowy delight
Without catching foul frostbite

The mad hatter sits at the table
Enjoying guest’s jokes and fables
Pulling crackers filled with riddles
Sipping sherry having a giggle

Alice sits in a maze of gifts
As to what they are she is miffed
Hoping that rabbit won’t be late
Another minute she just can’t wait!

I really enjoyed your poem. I read Alice's Adventures a month a go!

Love it! It's really clever how you adapted the well known scene of the tea party and made it a Christmas party.
